MEET YOUR HOST KIM THOMAS

After a brief career on Wall Street, Kim followed her passion for design, launching a successful career spanning over 25 years. She has designed and marketed stationery, gifts, fashion, and home décor inspired by the classic sophistication of Southern New England’s shores.

In 2016, Kim launched Shorelines Illustrated, a media brand celebrating Coastal New England’s distinctive life and leisure. With an innate gift for connection, she founded New England Coastal Creative (NECC) in 2020, leveraging her extensive network and content expertise to connect brands with the audience they inspire.

Through digital platforms and dynamic event activations, NECC delivers engaging content and memorable experiences for luxury brands and destinations, energizing vendors, venues, and tastemakers. By fostering meaningful connections and spotlighting the lifestyle and brands her audience loves to seek, shop, and savor, Kim has made connection her superpower, building a creative community that thrives.

On a personal note, Kim lives in Greenwich, CT, with her husband of nearly 25 years, Alex—affectionately known to many as “Mr. Kim”—and their two college-aged children, Matthew and Lauren. When she’s not connecting and creating, you’ll find her at the beach with a glass of bubbly at sunset, always dreaming of her next getaway to the Cape and Nantucket, although South County, RI has also become a new favorite. Kim cherishes time spent with friends, sharing laughs and coastal stories, and always planning the next great adventure.
