Setting the Perfect Community Table with Tuckernuck

An Evening of Connection and Coastal Charm at Nantucket’s Dips Property

There’s something about a summer evening in Nantucket that feels like pure magic. The salty air, the golden glow of the sunset, and the quiet hum of conversation between friends—it all came together perfectly at our recent dinner party, hosted by the incredible community champion Holly Ruth Finigan, set at the stunning Dips property. Surrounded by some of my closest NECC community friends and adorned with the most gorgeous Tuckernuck tabletop pieces, the night was one to remember.

A Night to Remember

The guest list included some truly inspiring women, each bringing their own energy and charm to the evening. Kylie McCollough, Nicole Carstensen, Jen Crellin, and Amy Doorley-Lucas from the esteemed Mott & Chace Realty team were there, as well as Carolin Walters of Cove Road Real Estate, interior designer Dana Koebbe, and, of course, yours truly! Each of us arrived ready to relax and enjoy the beauty of Nantucket, dressed in a mix of Tuckernuck’s Navy Luella Dress and pieces from the Nantucket Reds x Tuckernuck collection, perfectly embodying the coastal elegance of the night.

The Gorgeous Dips Property

The Dips property, with its expansive views and welcoming atmosphere, felt like the perfect place to gather. Nestled in one of Nantucket’s most picturesque spots, the home offered a dreamy backdrop for our dinner. From its manicured grounds to the cozy nooks where we could sit and chat, every detail of the property added to the sense of community we wanted to create. As the sun set and the stars began to twinkle, it was as though the property itself was an extension of the evening’s warmth and connection.

Creating a Beautiful Table with Tuckernuck

Of course, no dinner party is complete without a thoughtfully set table. For this gathering, we used Tuckernuck’s beautiful Sharp Floral Tablecloth, which brought a vibrant pop of color to the setting, perfectly contrasting with the natural coastal tones around us. Paired with the Dark Brown Rattan Intertwined Placemats, the table had a rustic yet refined feel that made everyone feel instantly at home. It was more than just a table setting—it was a space that invited conversation, laughter, and the sharing of stories, which is exactly what we did all night long.

Gathering as Friends and Colleagues

As we settled in for dinner, there was an undeniable sense of connection. Over a delicious meal, we shared stories about life, work, and everything in between. For me, this was the heart of the evening—gathering with women who are not only successful in their fields but also deeply supportive of one another. It was a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come and dream about what’s ahead. Nights like this remind me that it’s not just about the setting, but the people around the table who make these moments truly special.

Sharing the Nantucket Night

As the conversation flowed and the evening deepened, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the simplicity of it all. Good company, a beautiful table, and the charm of Nantucket—it’s all you need to create something unforgettable. The Tuckernuck pieces brought style and grace to the evening, but the real beauty was in the connection we shared. As we raised our glasses and made toasts under the Nantucket stars, it was clear that this dinner was more than just a meal—it was a celebration of friendship, community, and the moments that bring us all together.
